SUPPORT THE CHILDREN
​Titliyan is a small NGO, which works towards educating underprivileged children in Noida. Noida is a suburban city,12 miles from New Delhi. In India, Quality education is still a concern, especially among low income communities. Majority of them cannot afford education.
To educate, to develop life - skills, helping every underprivileged kid develop social skills to lead a healthy & safe life has been a dream project for Anita Gurnani. She started such a school with 10 students in Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Sector19, Noida. Today it has grown to 90 students with few dedicated teachers.The teachers are from various fields of education who bring their experiences and unique experiences to create an environment where children can learn in a fun filled atmosphere and relate that learning to their daily life which makes it practical for them and develops an urge to know more.
The programs for Titliyan are designed to help government school students with extra study material to develop better understanding of the subjects as well as and attention for children who are unable to attend school. The subjects being taught are English, Hindi, Science,Social studies, Computers and Mathematics.The focus is primarily on Languages - Hindi & English and exposing the children to Computers, apart from developing their natural inquisitiveness by making them ask questions instead of rote learning. Programs have been designed to create an interest & eagerness in making learning fun, interactive and happy.

Our team at Titliyan focuses on creating awareness amongst kids that education is most important.
The computers are used to develop their listening skills, comprehension , english vocabulary and Reasoning skills.
Focus is on developing their interpersonal skills. All festivals are celebrated to make the students aware of religions other then theirs and to make them open to differences as well as to make them aware and proud of the cultural diversity of India.
Programs are developed so that they gain confidence in their ability, overcome their natural shyness, get an opportunity to display their talent and are able to identify between what is wrong and right.
We all work very hard at Titliyan to help every child achieve their simple dreams and potential, to inculcate a go getter attitude in children and to make them believe that nothing is beyond them if they strive hard to attain their dreams.
